Under 5/6s

Our Under 5/6s are a part of the thriving junior section at Newton Abbot Rugby Club.

With over 400 junior members aged 5 to 18, Newton Abbot Rugby Club boasts one of the most extensive junior sections in the South West. Our Under 5s—Under 8s play tag rugby. Matches begin from Under 7s. Full-contact games start at Under 9s. Under 5s to Under 11s are mixed boy and girl teams. Following the RFU regulations, our teams are divided into separate girls’ and boys’ teams once they reach Secondary School.

Is your child keen to try rugby? Our Under 6/5s are always looking for new players. Anyone can join in, regardless of experience, playing ability, or confidence levels.
