Under 7s
Our Under 7s are a part of the thriving junior section we have here at Newton Abbot Rugby Club. With over 300 junior members from age 5 – 18, Newton Abbot Rugby Club boasts one of the largest junior sections in the South West.
Our Under 5s – Under 8s play tag rugby. Matches begin from Under 7s. Full contact games start at Under 9s. Under 5s to Under 11s are mixed boy and girl teams. Following the RFU regulations, our teams are divided into separate girls’ and boys’ teams once they reach Secondary School.
Is your child keen to give rugby a try? Our Under 7s are always on the lookout for new players. Anyone can join in, regardless of past experience, playing ability or confidence levels.
