Sportman’s Dinner Partnership.
7th October 2024Platinum Partnership Opportunity, We’re thrilled to extend an exclusive opportunity to become the Platinum Partner of Newton Abbot Rugby Club’s annual Sportsman’s Dinner. Newton Abbot…
Simon has come on board as Junior Development of Rugby Manager. Mike Saxton, NARFC’s DOR, felt that there was so much talent in the Junior Section, from both players and coaches, that it needed someone to help coordinate Rugby thorough the section. So NARFC created the position of Junior Development of Rugby Manager. After getting many applications from a wide field, Simon was the chosen candidate.
Let’s hear from Simon himself.
“I’m a former player from juniors to seniors for both Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and at County level before age meant I had to hang up my playing boots.
I’ve now turned my energy to coaching my boy’s age groups and helping grow the junior section for the long term benefit of the club through my role as Junior Development of Rugby Manager
My youngest Tommy is in the u6/5’s, Billy is in the u10’s and my daughter Ellie is now at the point of “if you can’t beat them, then join them” and is enjoying her rugby at school and is interested in starting with the u13 girls which is allowing my children to experience the great values about this game we all love.
I’ve particularly enjoyed being reuniting with former teammates and making new friendships and connections within the club and across sides in the local area”
