Joe Bailey called up for Exeter Chiefs 1st Team

28th September 2022

There is nothing more fulfilling than watching our children play through the age groups, develop into amazing individuals and see them achieve their goals!

We would like to congratulate former Newton Abbot Rugby Club player Joe Bailey, for his call up to the Exeter Chiefs 1st team squad for their game against Bristol Bears tonight in the Premiership Rugby Cup

Joe started his career with us in the U7s/U8s and was team captain throughout the junior years, including in the Devon U15s Cup Final. More recently he captained the Exeter Chiefs Academy team and represent England U18s in the 6 Nations Cup!

Recently Joe visited the club to catch up with old friends and team mates. He also presented his England shirt to All Whites Colts Team Manager Lisa Smith.

Lisa said “It was fantastic to see Joe back down at the club again and he is welcome back anytime. Joe has an exceptional understanding of the game and an excellent attitude towards training. We wish him all the best for his future career”

Good luck for tonight Joe we’re supporting you all the way!
