Type: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Reports to: Director of Business Development and Operations

Help Us Tell the Story of One Club, One Community

Newton Abbot Rugby Club is on the lookout for a proactive, creative, and organised individual to lead our marketing and communications. From social content and matchday programmes to community stories and sponsor visibility – you’ll be shaping how we connect with players, supporters, volunteers, and partners.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of a growing and much-loved community club.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and growing our social media presence

• Creating and sending email campaigns and newsletters

• Designing matchday programmes, posters, and event graphics

• Keeping the website updated and engaging

• Supporting commercial partners with creative content

• Championing our community, volunteers, and grassroots rugby

🙌 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is a confident communicator and creative thinker

• Knows their way around Canva (or Adobe Express)

• Has experience with websites, socials, or email tools

• Loves community sport and club culture

• Is organised, reliable, and full of ideas

• Bonus points for photography or videography skills!

💡 Trainee Pathway Available

We’re also offering a Trainee Marketing Assistant route – perfect for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain experience in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Trainee Salary: £18,000 – £21,000 per year
(Approx. £350 – £450 per week, depending on hours and experience)
