🏆 Newton Abbot Rugby Club Awards Night – Nominations Now Open! 🏆

We’re bringing the whole club together for a night of celebration and recognition — and we need your help to make it special.

🎟 Tickets are now just £35 per person or £60 per couple (must be from the same household).

👗 Dress Code: Oscars-themed – time to get a little dressed up!

This evening is a celebration of everyone who makes up Newton Abbot Rugby Club – from our senior and junior teams to our coaches, volunteers, supporters, and commercial partners. It’s a true One Club occasion, bringing us all together to recognise the people behind the badge.

You can now nominate someone for each of the awards below. One vote per award, per person. Duplicate nominations for the same category won’t be counted – so choose wisely and make it count! ✨

🏉 Award Categories

Junior Coach of the Year

Recognising a coach in our junior section who has gone above and beyond to develop young players, bring out the best in their team, and represent the club with passion and integrity.

Club Operations Award – Seniors

This one’s for the behind-the-scenes organiser who keeps everything running smoothly. From fixtures to forms and all the late-night WhatsApp messages in between, this person is a vital cog in the senior setup.

Club Operations Award – Juniors

For the person in the junior section who organises teams, liaises with clubs, manages the chaos, and makes sure the kids get on the pitch each week. It’s a heartfelt thank you for an often thankless role.

Club Community Award

Awarded to someone who embodies the club’s spirit and values, a champion of the #OneClub #OneCommunity ethos, always looking out for others and making a real difference.

Players’ Player – Men’s

Voted for by the players, this award recognises the teammate who made the biggest impact on the field and in the changing room – someone you’d go to battle with any day.

Players’ Player – Women’s

The standout team player, as chosen by the squad – someone who gives everything and lifts those around them. A peer-voted celebration of grit, graft, and character.

Supporters’ Player of the Year – Men’s

This one’s for the fans to decide – which men’s player do you think gave their all this season and earned your applause week in, week out?

Supporters’ Player of the Year – Women’s

For the women’s player who captured the hearts of the crowd – be it through consistent performances, spirit, or sheer determination.

Best Newcomer to Newton Abbot Rugby Club – Off-field

This award is for someone who’s recently joined the club and made a brilliant off-field contribution – through volunteering, energy, support or ideas that have helped move us forward.
