As Director of Sport at Newton Abbot RFC, Simon Coburn oversees all sporting activity across the Men’s, Women’s, and Junior sections, ensuring high standards in governance, coaching, player development, and education. A former All Whites player and proud rugby dad, Simon’s connection to the club runs deep. He coaches youth squads directly, helping young players embrace the values of respect, discipline, and teamwork. Drawing on both his playing background and professional expertise, Simon is committed to building a sustainable, successful, and welcoming club that serves as a positive force in the local community.
