Job Title: Interim Assistant Forwards Coach – Women’s Rugby

Role Overview
Whilst our amazing Emily Tuttosi is away on World Cup duties with Canada, Newton Abbot RFC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Interim Assistant Forwards Coach to support the ongoing development of our dynamic and growing women’s squad. This interim, part-time role offers a rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong rugby background who thrives in a collaborative, player-focused coaching environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Women’s Head Coach in planning and delivering engaging, purposeful training sessions.

Support individual player development across technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.

Contribute to match day preparations and provide sideline coaching support.

Promote and maintain a positive, inclusive, and empowering team culture.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with players, coaches, and club staff.

Essential Requirements
Strong rugby experience, either as a player or coach.

A clear commitment to supporting and advancing women’s rugby.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable availability for weekly training sessions and match days.

Desirable Attributes
RFU Coaching Qualification (Level 1 or higher), or currently working towards certification.

Previous coaching experience with women’s teams or in a club environment.
