Set in a picturesque village and dating from the 15th-century, this country B&B is 3.4 miles from Totnes train station and 3.7 miles from Totnes Elizabethian House Museum, a restored 16th-century merchant’s house.

The 10 plush rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. An upgraded room adds a free-standing tub, and an annexe suite adds a lounge area.

Complimentary hot breakfast is served in the vibrant sunroom overlooking the patio. There’s a restaurant offering lunches and dinners from a menu that changes seasonally. Other amenities include 2 bars (1 with a fireplace) serving real ales.
