Plastic Cup Deposit Policy
Our Aim
As part of our commitment to reducing single-use plastic, NARFC has implemented a plastic cup deposit scheme in partnership with Maven Solutions.
The scheme will reduce our environmental impact and simultaneously generate donations to our Members Floodlight Fund.
How Are Policy Works
Our policy is as follows:
- Each cup will be charged £1 when filled.
- You can retain the cup or swap it for a fresh cup[ with your next drink. We would prefer you use the same cup to help with the environmental policy and the cost impact on the club.
- At the end of the match or event, you can request a refund of your deposit. You may also wish to inform staff that you’d like to donate your deposit to the Flooding Fund.
- We aim to discourage mass cup collecting and, therefore, NARFC not pay out for Cups you have not paid for, nor will we pay back deposits to U18’s
- Any cups collected by our staff after the event will be considered a donation towards the Floodlight Fund
We will not refund multiple cups collected where our bar team believes it is for a person’s financial gain.
