The Club has come a long way since the last season we fully completed before COVID upset the Rugby. Pitches have never looked better. We have a new tractor and pitch maintenance equipment funded by the Senators prize draw and local businesses’ donations. We have new fencing around the front pitch, which looks fantastic and fills with pitchside partnership advertising boards.
The Club is now working with the #OneClub ethos meaning the whole Club and all sections, Ladies, Men’s and Juniors are all working towards the same end goal. The change creates a larger executive committee and adapts the Commercial Team and Directors to work for the Club as a whole entity. The Commercial Team have recently finalised a business plan for the next five years. They have put the Club in a financially sustainable position, with constant adaptations and planning at the forefront. Hopefully, you will see the launch of our new website which as a platinum partner you will be a regular feature.
Our Club is also very proud of community work during the pandemic. It took part in Free School Meal handouts, and Christmas hampers for the vulnerable, funded by members and the local community. At the very beginning of lockdown, the Club teamed up with the local Food Bank (HITS) opening our kitchen to provide food delivery service to those who needed it the most. Our players stepped up and delivered meals all over Teignbridge, showing the #OneCommunity spirit.
